I’m John – the Email Gorilla, an email marketing specialist and direct response copywriter
I write banging emails that put your sales on autopilot and boost your bank balance.
When I’m not protecting my band of clients from the harsh world of marketing, I’m usually hanging out or traveling with my beautiful family.
I’ve not always worked in marketing though.
After leaving the mountains as a young primate, I had no interest in the bright lights of Hollywood that had attracted my dear uncle Kong.
Instead, I worked with young and vulnerable people for over 20 years in many settings, from youth and community to social services and as a Primary School teacher & leader.
(I know, a gorilla in a Primary School! What’s the world coming to?)
And There’s More …
I’ve also worked in several other industries, such as NGOs, logistics, and higher education.
Genuine care, high standards, and accountability have always been central to my working life.
And it’s no different now.
I know how important it is to business owners like you to achieve consistent and reliable sales.
I know, because it’s important to me too.
Getting you the results you need is my number 1 priority.
I moved into marketing because I’ve always loved writing.
And when my son was born, I made it my mission to find a way to earn money from it and to build a flexible, remote-working life around my family.
Email marketing was the perfect fit.
I had a knack for words, understood the value of good sales copy, and got a massive kick out of the psychology of selling.
And so, here I am, four years later, working with clients on different continents around the world …
